MADHOUSE Fig Leaf & PartyPail Thanksgiving Table Setting

We’re two weeks away from Thanksgiving, and now is the time to start your holiday planning. It’s time to curate the perfect guest list, order your bird, plan your Thanksgiving tabletop, buy your nonperishable ingredients, and even start making some of your dinner elements ahead of time, like pie crust, turkey stock, and gravy.

When it comes to your Thanksgiving tabletop, we say there’s no point in dealing with the hassle of fine china when there are disposable tableware options available that are just as elegant as china. And the best part? Using Thanksgiving paper tableware will dramatically cut  the amount of dishes you have to do after the meal. Who can say no to that?!

Our MADHOUSE Fig Leaf collection matches the spirit of Thanksgiving beautifully with a leaf and wood grain design in autumnal hues of taupe, brown, bronze, and cream. Pair the Fig Leaf Collection with coordinating brown solid tableware and our plastic twig cutlery, and you’ll have a table that’s magazine-spread worthy without worrying about the kids (or your clumsy brother-in-law…) breaking your nice china!

Thanksgiving Favors

Accent your tabletop with the Fig Leaf Melamine Serving Tray, which is perfect for carrying drinks or serving appetizers. To make a perfect (and oh-so simple) appetizer tray for Thanksgiving, fill your tray with treats like:

  • Sliced apples
  • Sliced pears
  • Grapes
  • Radishes
  • Crackers
  • Cheese
  • Honey
  • Spicy jam
  • Sea Salt
  • Butter

You can also add items from our collection of Fall and Autumn Favors into the mix, like the bronze leaf bottle stopper, leaf tea light holders, leaf place card holders, and leaf coasters.

Once Thanksgiving week rolls around, it’s time to clean the house, gather your recipes, make a list and shop for all the perishable items you need, and run your dishes and cookware that you only occasionally use through the dishwasher. On Wednesday, do prep work for your recipes and get your table decorated and set for the big day. A tip that we love is to use sticky notes to designate where everything should be placed when arranging the buffet and table on Thanksgiving day. This way, when your guests are trying to help you set up, it will turn out exactly as you imagined it.

With a little planning, you’ll be all set to have a wonderful, stress-free Thanksgiving so you can focus on what’s really important on this holiday: spending time with loved ones!

How are you preparing for Thanksgiving?
